The Mustang is a starter ship manufactured by Consolidated Outland, with better speed and maneuvrability than the Aurora at the expense of cargo. It was the $28000000 USD stretch goal.
Lifetime Insurance will be transferable to the Mustang packages for users who bought a LTI Aurora package. [1]

Variants[]
While all models of the Mustang are tempered towards speed and manoeuvrability, that doesn't mean that they all fly the same — Consolidated Outland have designed several different variants to ensure that every pilot can find a Mustang that's right for them.
The Mustang Alpha is a starter ship intended to be fairly balanced, while still having an emphasis on speed and agility.
The Mustang Beta is fine-tuned for light exploration. Spending long periods of time in this ship is no problem with its COM4T living quarters, and the stock Tarsus Leaper Jump Engine will make travelling to the far reaches of the universe a breeze.
The Mustang Gamma is built for racers who need the ultimate in speed. Three Magma Jet engines mean that this ship has plenty of power behind it, paired with smooth acceleration to make sure performance is tight at high speed.
The Mustang Delta is an out-and-out fighter. Consolidated Outland have reinforced the sturdy hull of a stock Mustang with their own industry-standard Cavalry Class Mass Reduction Armor, giving this variant a reduced cross-sectional signature and, as a result, increased potency on the battlefield.
