A jump drive is a type of upgrade module that allows travel between systems at faster-than-light speeds through gaps in space-time known as jump-points.
Jump drive types[]
- Journeyman model: Basic, less expensive jump drive for routine intersystem travel.
- Explorer model: Complex jump drive that improve chances when charting new systems.
- Stealth model: Jump drives with less "jump flash," decreasing the chances of being detected on entering a system.
