The Imperator program is a subscription model designed to assist Cloud Imperium Games in continuing development of Star Citizen, as well as the studio's production of community content like podcasts and video documentaries.

Imperator subscribers receive all the content included in the Centurion program, as well as the following bonuses:
- An extra copy of each piece of hangar flair and event flair, to share with other players.
- A 'Vanduul Test Pilot' badge that grants access to 24 hours of access to the Vanduul Scythe. This reward is not currently available, as the ship has not yet launched. However, time earned ahead of the ship's release will stack.
- 'Advanced Test Pilot' access, which amounts to 16,500 REC to use in Arena Commander and Star Marine.
Imperator subscribers who take advantage of the annual subscription, or keep up a monthly subscription for twelve months will also receive the following:
- A single-use coupon that grants 15% off a purchase from the store.
- An Imperator Year 3 decal for your ship, which will be made available at a later date.
- The chance to name a pirate NPC and provide a backstory for the official Galactipedia.
