The RSI Orion is mankind’s premiere spatial mining platform, fully compatible with all Mark IV Remote Mining Devices, and featuring an onboard refinery and a system of saddlebag-class storage units.

Roberts Space Industries’ goal has always been to make the stars available to individual Citizens. Now, with the RSI Orion mining platform, RSI is letting individuals take over a process formerly controlled by megacorporations. The Orion’s features include high-grade turret-mounted tractor beam arrays, durable exterior-accessible ‘saddlebags’ for mineral storage and a cabin designed by the team that brought you the Aurora and Constellation!

The Orion is a mining ship manufactured by Roberts Space Industries. It is the $31000000 USD stretch goal.

A Loan in the 'Verse[edit | edit source]

A Loan in the 'Verse is a minigame released by Roberts Space Industries, and designed by Turbulent. It's based on a short story written by Dave Haddock and William Weissbaum, and puts players in the role of an Orion owner faced with balancing their mining interests against the nefarious intent of the space mafia.
